Q1. Hey Vishwajeet, Can you introduce yourself to my community?

Hello Venkat, First of all thanks for inviting me to your interview series. My name is Vishwajeet Kumar.

I am a fulltime blogger and digital marketer. I have started my blogging journey in 2016.

Q2. Can you share about your educational background?

I have completed my Bachelor of Business Administration from Jaipur National Unversity in 2016.

I have also completed Diploma in Programming language in C++, C# from NIIT.

Q3. Who inspired you to start blogging & digital marketing?

Frankly, I was inspired my Amit Agarwal, God father of blogging in India.

When I was in collage I love to surf the internet.

I came to know about his blog labnol.org while searching for tutorials on the Google.

He is a fantastic person with excellent knowledge in tech and gadget world.

For digital Marketing I really inspired by Anil Agarwal of bloggerspassion.com.

He is a SEO guru and have vast knowledge in affiliate marketing. He is very down to earth person and always help others.

Q4. What are the reasons behind the selection of Blogging Gate name?

When I started blogging in 2016, I created 3 failed blogs but you know it helps me to learn each and everything about blogging,SEO, and affiliate marketing.

You never consider your first blog as a successful blog. After that I have launched bogwithvk but due to some personal issue I have sold that blog.

A tragedic decision for me.

However, you really don’t know when things goes against you.

I always love to help newbies to become a successful blogger and that is why I choose the name Blogging Gate, The gateway of blogging world.

Q5.  What is your daily routine? Can you share some productivity tips?

Since I belongs to middle class bengali family and My mom was a school teacher (She is retired now).

I along with my siblings grew up in a disciplined lifestyle. I always wake up in the morning around 5:00 AM everyday.

I do my writing works in morning and rest of the day I work on promotion and social media activities.

To increase my productivity I always do yoga and meditation. I also love to read books and go for travel.

Q6. Which hosting you recommend for beginners? And why?

I am personally using Hostagtor managed WordPress hosting. They are providing excellent WordPress hosting with almost zero downtime and superior customer support services.

Q7. What are your thoughts on Blogging vs YouTube?

Both are good.

Blogging is a evergreen world. People always visit a blog but you cannot ignore the importance of YouTube.

Today, video consumption is growing rapidly across the world and it is now become a big marketplace.

It will be a good idea to start a YouTube channel along with your blog.

Q8. What are your thoughts on Blogging vs Podcast?

Both have their own pros and cons.

Blogging is a different term where you get all information along with details and relevant links.

Podcast is also good but blogging have more advantage over podcast when it comes to leverage the marketing.

Q9. What are the most tools you use daily?

I use Google docs, SEMrush, Coschedule healine analyzer, and Ahrefs on a regular basis.

Q10. Can you share some email marketing tips?

Email marketing is very important.

I always recommend users to collect email lists from the first day of your blogging.

The best ways to collect email list is by providing free ebooks, or launch your own courses to collect some leads.

You also need a tools like OptinMonster to create professional designed optin forms

Q11. Which books you recommend for bloggers and marketers?

Procrastination is a big issue for newbie bloggers. So, I highly recommend to read the Book “Eat that Frog” I have personally read this book and it helps me a lot.

Q12. Which affiliate products you are promoting mostly?

I mostly promote products and services related to Blogging, SEO, WordPress, and hosting.

Q13. What are your black friday promotion strategies?

Blackfriday deals are great way to generate some good leads and conversion.

I will create a dedicated post and pages about the black Friday deals and share it on my social media networks.

If you have knowledge on Facebook ads then you can also use this to generate some leads.

Q14. You are leveraging Facebook profile more? What are tips to Leverage blogging with Facebook profile?

Building a good realtionship with other bloggers is very important.

We cannot do it overnight. It takes some time.

Share other bloggers content, feature them on your blog will definitely attarcts them toward you. J

ust make a habit of giving and in return you will get a lot.

Q15. You flipped Blogwithvk recently? Can you share the story and tips to flip the website?

I have not listed that blog in Flippa.

As you know I need the funds urgently so, I have submit a request on Facebook profile and one of my blogging friend have bought it immediately.

Q16. How to promote affiliate products on Facebook?

You cannot promote affiliate links directly on Facebook.

The best strategy is to create a landing page about the product you are promoting.

My favourite is promoting review posts on Facebook. It is best and one of the effective ways to promote affiliate products.

Q17. What are your thoughts on my blog Blogging Ray? Can you share some suggestions?

You are really doing an amazing work with your blog. All I can say is that just keep growing more and do whatever you have done so far. My best wishes for you.

Q18. Can you share some tips to get affiliate sales?

Build your authority and trust first. No one buy a product from a stranger.

So, you need to build trust and authority online.

Write a review about the product. Mention the pros and cons of it.

Make sure, you have used the product and services before writing a review on them.

It will make your review more authentic and help you generate sales.

Q19. Can you share some tips to network with other bloggers?

As I have said earlier there is no secret ingredient for it.

Keep sharing others content and feature them on your blog. Drop authentic comments on their blogs.

It will definitely help you to build a strong bond with them.

Always be generous and polite is key term to make your networking big.

Q20. Google Adsense vs Affiliate Marketing. What are your thoughts on it?

Both are good program. Google AdSense is also one of the best and genuine program that pays you for clicks, and impressions.

Affiliate Marketing pays you when you refer a product and services.

When a user buy through your link then you will get a commission.

I think affiliate marketing have an edge over Adsense when it comes to make passive income.

AdSense is very strict with rules and you don’t know when your account get disabled.

Q21. You are producing articles daily? What are the tips to produce content like you?

I think its passion and practice that helps me to deliver content daily.

When you have that passion and you practice writing daily it will definite hone your blogging skills and boost up your consistency.

Q22. Can you share some tips to get brand deals?

Just keep adding relevant content and work on your SEO.

When your blog start receiving lots of traffic. It will automatically noticed by advertisers and brands.

You will then automatically get sponsored deals from them.
